Why Our Clients Love Us
I began with Stacy in 2007 when my daughter gave me a mother daughter gift to share. I have continued to do Pilates at Studio 59 because I have benefited from staying strong and working on my balance needs. Stacy is knowledgeable but moreover she cares about me!

“I was referred to Studio 59 after completing a course of physical therapy for sciatic pain caused by Psoas Syndrome. The physical therapist specifically said that Pilates, using the Reformer, would help me strengthen my core. I have been working with Stacy in reformer classes for almost a year and I can see and feel a significant difference. It has helped me immensely with my horseback riding endurance and form. Stacy’s classes are fun which keeps me coming back!”

A year and a half ago, upon recommendation from a neighbor, I tried Studio 59 Pilates. I was having difficulties with balance and diminished feeling in both feet. After assessing my individual needs, Stacy used a device she created called a Neuro-stimulator that goes on the foot bar of her reformers and within a few months I began to gain more feeling in my feet! I have continued to attend a weekly reformer class as I feel it greatly benefits my overall flexibility, balance, and strength. Besides, even though we work hard, Stacy makes it FUN!

“I began taking Pilates classes with Studio 59 in 2013. Stacy and her staff made me feel welcome and at ease from the beginning. Pilates has made me stronger and my muscles are more defined. I get a great workout while enjoying the camaraderie of my fellow students. Studio 59 is a great, affordable place to practice Pilates. I feel fortunate to have discovered Studio 59 and Stacy.”

Pilates has improved my posture and I feel taller! Pilates with Stacy has allowed me to build stronger muscles and taught me how to use my abdominal muscles to help me protect my lower back from chronic pain. I am a very active senior and this work has helped keep me going strong in my 70’s.
My instructor, Stacy, is so well educated she seems to know the body inside and out! She works with her clients at their pace, (very accommodating). I’m going to be with her through my 80’s!

“One of the best decisions of my life was joining Studio 59’s Pilates class. I was nearing 70 years of age and had not been involved in a formal exercise class for many, many years. I was “hooked” after my first Pilates session for several reasons. First, Stacy has a welcoming and cheerful personality. It’s fun to be with her. Second, Stacy is extremely safety-conscious so any fear of injury flies out the window. Third, she knows the human body inside and out…every move on the Reformer is to affect something. I have taken individual sessions right along, but this year I added a group session with three other women which has proven to be loads of fun!
You folks who fear that Pilates is out of your realm physically should give Stacy and Studio 59 a try. You will be amazed at your improvement in strength and flexibility and how Stacy accommodates individual issues.”

“I began a number of years ago with Stacy because I needed strengthening of my muscles and balance issues addressed. Then in 2016 I had both hip joints replaced. Stacy was there for me before and during, encouraging me, and after to help me grow stronger with more confidence in my daily life routines. Thank you!”
