The Reformer is a piece of equipment invented by Joseph Pilates, it has a flat movable top called the carriage. It has a series of springs that have degrees of tension to them. The Reformer is very versatile, exercise can be done lying down, sitting, standing, pulling the straps (feet or hands), sideways and more.
